This is a beast. Even the hood has some heft to it. Thing is, it is the most comfortable, the warmest, and the best fitting sweatshirt I've owned. Name brand fitness manufacturers' versions are flimsy in comparison. I wore this at a recent training in the Nevada desert, and while others donned jackets, or shivered in the 35mph morning winds, I was in comfort... and I hate the cold. Buy it. It is worth every penny.
